The Rules

1. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE!!!!!!!!! read all of the rules before signing up -,- if you do something then claim "I didn't know it was against the rules" I will kick you out of the RPG don't be lazy just read the rules

2. This is indeed based on the Harry Potter books [the movies are shitty and this is defiantly not based around them :D], however that doesn't mean that you have to have read the books to join, this will not follow them at all I can guarantee you that, this is mostly just to use the characters from the books in a RPG :D

3. You do not have to be a character from the books, you can make up an original character ^^

4. Alright I know that some of the stuff I am going to put as my characters is not in the books [for instance I'm going to make it to where you can change into multiple animals if you wish instead of just one :D] you can also do this if you wish ^^

5.Any and all sex NEEDS to be underdetailed or be moved to here hidden secrets at Hogwarts

6.Any and all questions/suggestions/angry rants should be sent to either me or the co-owners ^^

7.Someone needs to be Harry Potter, if noone chooses to be him I guess I shall ^^

information on the houses

Hogwarts is divided into four houses where the students belong, they are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin

Gryffindor:

values courage, bravery, daring, nerve and chivalry. Its mascot is the lion, and its colours are red and gold. The Head of this house is the Transfiguration teacher, Minerva McGonagall, and the house ghost is Nearly Headless Nick. According to Rowling, Gryffindor corresponds roughly to the element of fire. The founder of the house is Godric Gryffindor.

The Gryffindor common room is located in one of the castle's highest towers, the entrance to which is located on the seventh floor in the east wing of the castle and is guarded by a painting of The Fat Lady, who is garbed in a pink dress. She permits entry only after being given the correct password.

Hufflepuff:

Hufflepuff values hard work, loyalty, tolerance, and fair play. The house mascot is the badger, and canary yellow and black are its colours. The Head of this house is the Herbology teacher Pomona Sprout, and the house ghost is The Fat Friar. According to Rowling, Hufflepuff corresponds roughly to the element of earth. The founder of this house is Helga Hufflepuff.

The Hufflepuff dormitories and common room are located somewhere in the basement. The entrance is found behind a life-like painting that is somewhere near the kitchens. Students must give the password to the painting to enter. The Hufflepuff common room is filled with yellow hangings and fat armchairs and it has little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops

Ravenclaw:

Ravenclaw values intelligence, learning, and wit. The house mascot is an eagle, and the house colours are blue and bronze (changed to blue and silver in the films). The head of this house is the Charms professor, Filius Flitwick, and the house ghost is The Grey Lady, who when she lived was Helena Ravenclaw, the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw. According to Rowling, Ravenclaw corresponds roughly to the element of air. The founder of this house is Rowena Ravenclaw.

The dormitories are located in Ravenclaw Tower on the west side of the school. The common room, which went undescribed in the series until the climax of Deathly Hallows, is round and filled with blue hangings and fat armchairs, has a domed ceiling painted with stars, and also features a replica statue of Rowena wearing her diadem. Harry also notes that, by day, the Ravenclaws "would have a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains." A logical riddle must be solved in order to gain entry, whereas the Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Slytherin common rooms only require a password.

Slytherin:

values ambition, cunning, and resourcefulness. The house mascot of Slytherin is the serpent, and the house colours are green and silver. The house was founded by Salazar Slytherin. The Head of this house is Severus Snape in the first five books and most of the sixth book. At the end of the sixth book and in the seventh book, the old Potions master and previous Head of House who has come out of retirement, Horace Slughorn, reassumes authority of the house. The ghost of Slytherin house is The Bloody Baron. According to Rowling, Slytherin corresponds roughly to the element of water. The Slytherin dormitories and common room are reached through a bare stone wall in the dungeons. The Slytherin common room is a long, low, dungeon-style room, located under the Hogwarts Lake, furnished with green lamps and carved armchairs.

Blair sighed in relief, going and taking a quick shower and putting her hair up in a messy bun before getting dressed. Once dressed she started writing a note for Sirius.

Blair smiled a little and nodded,"Pf course... I'll see you later today, ok?"

2011-06-29 [GlassCasket]: Demitri stood leaning on his desk reading a book on experimental spells, "Huh...interesting..." He said waving his wand in the appropriate fashion and mumbling an incomplete spell. Nothing happened so he mumbled somethings under his breath and a small shock shot from his wand, "AHA!" He exclaimed, "GOT IT!"

Ron nods writting that down quickly then jumps, "Bloody hell I gotta get to my first class" he shoves his books untidedly into his bag before scampering off to Experimental Theory [or whatever i called it xD well dan's class :D]

Sirius smiles back, "ok be safe"

Akira strolled into Demitri's class raising his brow at the teacher sitting in the back with Angelo.

2011-06-29 [GlassCasket]: Demitri looked back at his students, "Well good afternoon i trust you all found the room alright?" He asked paying special attention to Ron, "You may or may not know this but this class isn't about flaunting your wands and chanting random incantations hoping that you will produce something amazing. This is going to require..." He tapped a stack of books on his desk and sent them out to the students, "An intense amount of study and dedication otherwise you may wind up dead." He said as the books finished distributing themselves, "Any questions?" He asked looking around leaning on his desk.

Blair giggled a little,"Always am." She went downstairs and got some breakfast while she set up for the first class.

Akira looked through the book "learned half of these by myself last year" he said quietly.

Demitri looked around, "Well then lets get started." He said and tapped his wand on the his desk which flipped over revealing a small box, "This box is locked and inside is something you may find most valuable. However the box is locked with a certain hex of my own design." He said smiling, "The first of you to open the box will be allowed to keep it's contents HOWEVER it will only open to a custom spell of your own creation." He smiled and looked around, "This will be your first lesson and your first assignment. Find a way to open this box on your own and with your own spell. Understood?" He asked looking around.

2011-06-29 [GlassCasket]: Chapter 33 of the book states that in order to create a spell one must put part of themselves into their wand. But it does not explain how to do it.

Demitri smiled watching his students, "You may have to ask other teachers or even help each other but it is well worth it." He said then turned and looked at his wrist, "Alright thats it for today your all dismissed."

Angelo chuckled at Ron whistling "nice"
